Why aren't we showing our portfolio on this website?

Every design project has its own background and conditions which influences it. These influencesand background are hard to present on a website. The project becomes than reduced to a simple collection of forms and colours, which hardly represent the work we do.

This website is made for the Internet, and the internet is also the main subject of the site. The world wide web is a truly democratic medium for an exchange of information, where you can find factual information as well as personal diaries, or private sites with webcams. This is very intimate information which one would not usually expect to find without knowing a person, and now they are available to masses.

Our intention was to expose this non-personal intimacy and the mechanics of internet sites. Our website is making a parallel to the inner-working of the Internet - it presents seemingly meaningless information, bits of pieces which are complete, yet, part of the whole, in a same way a DNA sequence contains the information of the whole organism, while it is only the smaller part of it. Similarly, this website is the tiny part of the ever growing Internet, and it is the internet.
